Abnormally Busy Neonatal Intensive Care Units

Abnormally high numbers of newborn babies have started life in Neonatal Intensive Care since 2021. The reasons are many and varied, such as prematurity, congenital cardiac conditions, failure to thrive, congenital malformities, and becoming unwell for no apparent reason within the first few days of life. People with no population health pattern recognition experience, but who work with women and babies, now frequently comment on the fact and innocently wonder why.

Meanwhile the reasons are being openly discussed in places such as:

A February 2024 Neonatal Mortality Review Report from the Scottish government. Neonatal deaths doubled exactly 9 months after Scotland’s mRNA vaccine rollout. But the cause remains unknown because the product, which the government sponsoring the report mandated, must never be questioned.

If this were true then the doctors and other health professionals observing it would speak out, surely? Most clinicians are not trained in population health pattern recognition, rather in caring for the individuals who come before them. At best they may notice that they are seeing more sickness. I can confirm that there is a level of bullying and fear in mainstream health systems such that those who consider speaking out have to be brave enough to face being labelled as personality disordered, then tolerated at best, but most likely censored and unemployed. What purpose can you serve if you lose the job you’re skilled in, particularly at a time when you are needed most by the community you serve? Paediatrician Renata Moon explains the culture.

Dr William Makis is an immunologist and oncologist who has spoken out persistently with evidence. He faces the nastiest character smears I have ever seen. His story of standing up to corrupted power is here.
