Event 201, sponsored by World Economic Forum and Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, was held in October 2019 in New York City. The last of about twenty simulated exercises held over the past two decades, it involved multiple players practicing how to respond to a pandemic of Coronavirus Associated Pneumonia Syndrome (CAPS).
Described as “a scripted, multi-camera, live event broadcast globally via the internet”, multiple training sessions involved methods for suppressing free speech, controlling media and blocking “misinformation”, as well as monitoring and forcefully restraining the free movement and behaviour of citizens. None of these impositions are relevant to protecting the health of the public, which requires free exchange of information, ideas and perspectives; effective community engagement; and maintaining normal functions of society.
Parallels between the Event 201 simulation and reality a few short months later are uncanny, as the Indoctornation documentary shows.
