An excellent example of science in progress is the growing group of professional, experienced scientists challenging current “knowledge” about viruses. The information discussed in The Viral Delusion is a huge shift from accepted paradigm. It might be right, it might be wrong, on every point made.
Those following the scientific process do not agree by any stretch of the imagination. Passionate debate is the accepted norm as evidence is presented, disputed, supported, questioned and tested in heated cycles.
This process is being redefined today, as “misinformation”, “disinformation” and “conspiracy theories”. Governments are implementing legislation to cancel anything considered “dissent”. This is determined by those nominated as our “single source of truth”, who happen to have verifiable conflicts of interest.
