Scientists and public health investigators have been arguing persistently that use of scare tactics is a deadly strategy, contributing to death and destruction in the past year. Scare tactics go against very basic public health principles and anyone with basic working knowledge of public health knows this. The first sign that something was very wrong was when World Health Organisation began promoting fear in press releases over a year ago, quickly followed by scores of extremely faulty recommendations which completely contradicted established pandemic plans. Those, including highly reputable experts, recoiling in horror and trying to speak out using data and evidence, have largely been dismissed and derided as conspiracists. A parallel universe established itself at warp speed.

Criminal charges have been filed against Martin Ackermann, the head of the Swiss National Covid-19 Science Task Force and “possibly other parties involved”, for deliberately and successfully frightening the population in accordance with Art. 258 of the Criminal Code. This is reported in German language publication Pilatus Today, the English translation available at this link. If there is any justice, this is only the beginning.
While the majority continue to side with corruption by using mainstream fear merchants as their reference source, this pandemic can never be addressed appropriately, and people will continue to suffer and die unnecessarily.
