Update from Wellington, New Zealand as at 11 February 2022:
- A number of police have downed-tools and joined protestors in response to what happened on the Beehive grounds yesterday. Some firemen have also reportedly joined. Protesters report that the Law Society of NZ donated their car park at no charge.
- It has been raining in Wellington who are on water restrictions. Protestors on the grounds of Parliament House had the sprinklers turned on them during rainfall. Observers from the balcony at Parliament House (public servants on guaranteed tax payer salaries) were filmed looking down and laughing as the “anti vaxxas” were sprayed with reticulated water. Whilst the rest of the nation are told to preserve water. Videos show the grounds underfoot, once lush grass, to be awash with mud. Sprinkler systems have been redirected and trenches have been dug to divert the water.
- Tow trucks were ordered to attend the streets of inner city Wellington and start removing protest vehicles. Tow companies refused, in unison with reports from Canada. Police are reportedly trying to involve the military instead.
- Mainstream media have reported an Omicron outbreak in Auckland, which they linked to Wellington protests 400km away. There are 2,874 active cases; 23 of whom are in hospital (with or from? That is never reported). Zero are in ICU.
- Reporters on the ground talk of flows of love : donations of food, money, raincoats, tents; cook-ups, and a community spirit.
- A 70km-long convoy are traveling south towards Wellington to support the protestors.

Considering the devastating effects of school closures on children, Dr. Fauci’s advocacy for school closures may be the single biggest mistake of his career.
